I was seriously considering driving in Iraq. Till i watched a couple youtube videos of a truck driver having a bad day. And im not talking about being stuck in a traffic jam in L.A.

They were driving BMW trucks i believe, no armor or protective glass. Nothing but military personal trying to clear the way and keep the rear safe.

The war for oil has obviously begun. Not sure i would of used Convoy as a reference. Mad Max seems to fit the bill though.

An awesome looking vehicle.

For the axle strength issue, wouldn't Kenworth or Peterbilt, have met this perfectly. Also would a caterpillar engine run on JP-8 fuel? Another idea about the axles could have been to use axles from the HETTT tank transportation truck. They are already strong enough and are already in military inventory.
